Kristjan Kotkas joins Baltika’s supervisory board
Today, at Baltic’s extraordinary general meeting of shareholders, Kristjan Kotkas was elected the fifth member of the company’s supervisory board.
Since the spring of this year, Kristjan Kotkas has fulfilled the role of general counsel to the KJK Group. Prior to this Kristjan spent eight years with one of the leading legal firms in the Baltics. ‘I am excited to be joining the Baltika board. I have full confidence that the very capable management body will be able to follow through with the ongoing restructuring plan, and I am looking forward to supporting them in every way I can at the supervisory board level,’ commented Kristjan.
Jaakko Sakari Mikael Salmelin, Baltika supervisory board’s chairman, added: ‘We are very happy to have Kristjan on the supervisory board. I’m sure his extensive experience and knowledge as a solicitor will be very beneficial to the board and to Baltika as a whole.’
Baltika’s supervisory board continues with five members, these being Jaakko Sakari Mikael Salmelin, Tiina Mõis, Reet Saks, Lauri Kustaa Äimä, and Kristjan Kotkas.
