Monton, Mosaic, Baltman, Ivo Nikkolo and Bastion presented Autumn/Winter 2016 collections on a spectacular fashion show

Yesterday evening, 24th of august, a grand fashion show was staged at Tallinn, during which the Baltika Grupp fashion brands – Monton, Mosaic, Baltman, Ivo Nikkolo, Bastion – presented their autumn/winter collections. First time in the history, the fashion show was broadcasted in all Baltka Group’s home markets – Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. During the show, the models made snaps of the backstage emotions. Baltika presented the Group’s brands Autumn/Winter season collections with a spectacular fashion show. All fashion brands – Monton, Mosaic, Baltman, Bastiona and Ivo Nikkolo – walked the catwalk at the legendary N099 theatre hall, at Tallinn city centre.

Meelis Milder, Chairman of the Board of Baltika, said that Baltika’s aim is to introduce Estonian fashion design to international markets. “Through our online shop our brands’ products have reached customers to 34 countries worldwide. We are proud that Monton has been securing its presence in the most popular and long-standing chain of department stores in Europe – Peek & Cloppenburg. And I’m also glad that this show is being broadcasted to all Baltic states, so fashion enthuasiasts through the Baltics could have a glimpse of the autumn/winter fashion trends,” said Milder.

All of the brands showcased their fresh creations and current trends for Autumn/Winter season.



The Bastion autumn/winter collection, styled by DJ, TV presenter and stylist Alina Privalova, with top hairdresser Igor Zahharov trying out the latest hairstyle trends, was utterly feminine, showing the the festive wardrobe of this autumn/winter season.

The key element of Ivo Nikkolo show, styled by Ivo Nikkolo designers Britta Laumets and two-time Estonian fashion design award Gold Needle laureate Eve Hanson, was the supersign of the brand. The designer of Ivo Nikkolo, Britta Laumets said that being creative is very important – there are so many ways to combine your clothes and have fun during this process. “We would like to do things differently,” she said and added: “I always suggest to be conscious and to invest into good quality clothes and then add some cool accessories or trendy items to create unexpected oitfits. Wearing dress with trousers or wide leg trousers is a cool way to express yourself during this autumn/winter,” said Britta Laumets.

Baltman’s autumn/winter collection, was styled by Baltman’s head designer, Estonian fashion design award Gold Needle laureate Aivar Antonio Lätt. Antonio said that the key items of this season are the double-breasted jackets and coats. He added, that this season is all about the quality fabrics, which create a huggy feeling.

Monton’s autumn/winter collection, whose stylistics was created by the Monton team, focused on the duality of the collection – calm and light, dramatic and dark. The head designer of Monton Women Collection Hanna Haring said, that Monton collection is a combination of two directions – modern Sacndinavic and feminine, boho inspired and dramatic. “We have added many pastel colors as well as metallic and dark tones. Lace is also one of the main global trends this season,” said Hanna Haring.
