Retail Plans for 2025: What’s Next for Ivo Nikkolo?

The year 2025 is already in full swing, and Ivo Nikkolo is not slowing down.

We’re kicking off the year with several major projects aimed at enhancing our customer experience and creating the best possible environment for our collections. In February, we will begin renovating our Domina store to introduce the refreshed store concept. Meanwhile, we are also optimizing our Narva Astri store by nearly halving its size to make the space more efficient and curated.

Summer will bring even more exciting updates, as Kaunas Akropolis is next in line to get our new concept store, marking a big step forward in Lithuania.

Alongside these openings, we have made the strategic decision to close two stores. At the end of 2024, we said goodbye to our Tallinn Karja store, followed by Riga Plaza in early 2025. While closures always mark the end of a chapter, they also create room for new opportunities. I am especially happy that our incredible teams from both locations have continued their journey with Ivo Nikkolo in other stores.

Looking back at recent trends in the retail landscape, it’s clear that the past year brought its share of challenges. The Estonian market remained tough, and outerwear sales fell short of expectations. While Lithuania experienced steady growth, it began to slow down due to rising food prices. Latvia’s performance fluctuated week by week. Footfall decreased, disposable income tightened, and the war in Ukraine added ongoing uncertainty.

Despite these hurdles, we’re stepping into 2025 with an optimistic mindset:

Wishing everyone a fantastic and successful year ahead! See you at Ivo Nikkolo.
